Next, you’ll head through tea plantations towards the lush, green landscapes of Kibale National Park, where Chimpanzees live alongside several other primate species. See them in their natural habitat, before heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your final day, savouring an up close encounter with critically endangered Mountain Gorillas as you trek through dense bamboo foliage. These beautiful primates only exist in three African countries and cannot be bred in captivity, so this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This activity is controlled by the forest authorities and takes place in small carefully managed groups of up to 8.
