Start your trip with a stay near vast Lake Victoria. With your chosen lodge as your base for the next few days, you’ll visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - the only place to see Rhinos in the wild in Uganda - trekking through the bush with your private guide to view them up close.The following day, you’ll take a safari cruise along the magnificent Nile towards the spectacular Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles and kingfishers along the way.
Next, you’ll head through tea plantations towards the lush, green landscapes of Kibale National Park, where Chimpanzees live alongside several other primate species. See them in their natural habitat. Then head towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your final day, savouring an up close encounter with critically endangered Mountain Gorillas as you trek through dense bamboo foliage. This activity is controlled by the forest authorities and takes place in small carefully managed groups of up to 8.
