Dating back to 1162, Venice Carnevale is a legendary party which takes place every year just before Lent. This year, we’re giving you the chance to join in the celebrations, with a three-day break specially designed to showcase the best of both the festivities and the city. The highlight is a trip to La Nuit Enchantée, this year’s Carnival In Love Grand Ball, with its fairytale theme. Before the event, you’ll have the chance to decorate your own mask during a workshop and choose a costume at one of the city’s ateliers. There’s time to discover the city too, take a walking tour in the steps of one historical lover of Carnival, Casanova, and there is plenty of time to get lost in the meandering streets yourself.
