Combining some of Morocco’s most exciting cities and serene desert landscapes, this Awesome Experience starts with an access-all-areas tour of Fes’ fantastic artisan workshops. Meet joiners, slipper-makers and even Yves Saint Laurent’s favoured brocade maker, before heading to a local house for an authentic tea ceremony. Leave the city the next day, bound for a Saharan desert camp via the dramatic scenery of the Atlas Mountains, you’ll get to explore the dunes by camel before a night under canvas below an unpolluted sky crowded with stars.

On Day Three, take in the sights of Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco thanks to its starring role in a host of movies, before spending the night in the magical, UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, an 11th-century trading post built from earth. You’re Marrakech-bound on your final full day in Morocco, to see famous sights including the Majorelle Garden and Koutoubia Mosque and go off-the-beaten track in its souks. Round off your break with a carriage ride to one of our favourite restaurants, for dinner in an authentic riad.
