Begin your holiday by tracing a route around the Golden Triangle between three of India’s most compelling cities - Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Starting in India's capital, you'll immerse yourself in a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds - the ancient with the modern - before taking the train to Agra, where you’ll visit the Taj Mahal for a spine-tingling sunset and experience an early morning yoga session. Then it’s time to move on to Jaipur, just as the Diwali celebrations begin.During the Festival of Light, you’ll be welcomed in by a local family for a unique and exclusive insight into this special celebration. You’ll see the streets beautifully illuminated as millions of oil lamps (known as diyas) are scattered around homes and temples to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. After you’ve recovered from your night of festivities, it’s time to head further into Rajasthan to visit beautiful Udaipur, where you’ll round off your Indian adventure with a magical boat trip on Lake Pichola.
