On this private trip, you’ll experience the incredible contrast between ancient and modern in two of Southeast Asia’s most exciting countries. Starting in Siem Reap, the gateway to the UNESCO-listed temple complex around Angkor Wat, you’ll have plenty of time to explore its temples, spend time with locals in the surrounding villages and explore the countryside by American army Jeep (you can even take an optional helicopter flight above the ruins).
Afterwards, you’ll head for Vietnam to explore buzzy Hanoi by Soviet-era motorbike. Speed around the labyrinth of Hanoi’s backstreets, taking in the madness of Vietnam’s capital. Taste incredible street food and visit sprawling markets on an exhilarating day in the city. Then finish your week-long trip with some time in magical Halong Bay: after a scenic seaplane transfer from Hanoi (optional), you’ll cruise its tranquil waters on an overnight trip by traditional vietnamese junk boat, trying your hand at night fishing with the locals and waking up to a stunning sunrise over the water.
