You’ll gain a fascinating insight into the life and landscapes of northern India on this exploration of India’s remote Himalaya region. Starting in the ancient city of Amritsar, you’ll journey into a land of hill stations and snow-capped mountains. Afterwards, you will visit the village home of the Dalai Lama and perhaps seek an audience with him (optional). Tour the tea gardens, temples and villages of this incredible part of the world before continuing on to explore bewitching Shimla, the old colonial summer capital of India, before taking an unforgettable journey back to Delhi by scenic ‘toy train’.
